FLUIDIZED BED AIR JET MILL

Molino de chorro de lecho fluidizado

Model: CLJM-L

CLJM-L Fluidized Bed Air Jet Mill is a dry ultrafine grinding system that accelerates feed with compressed-gas nozzles, uses particle-to-particle impact in a fluidized bed, and separates fine powder with a dynamic classifier. It serves dry, brittle, hard, abrasive or heat-sensitive materials where particle-size target, gas utility and collection scope are selected together.

  • Output fineness0.5–75 μm
  • Capacidad0.5–600 kg/h
  • Maximum feed size5 mm
  • Air consumption3–40 m³/min by model
  • Working pressure0.75–0.85 MPa
  • ConfigurationMaterial testing and system scope review

MODEL SELECTION

Model Selection By Feed And Particle-Size Target

Which CLJM-L size and operating route best fits material behavior and target fineness?

Feed and output windowFeed up to 5 mm; output 0.5–75 μm.
Model rangeCLJM-100–800: 0.5–600 kg/h, 3–40 m³/min air and 0.75–0.85 MPa.
Best fitDry brittle, hard, abrasive or heat-sensitive materials needing dynamic classification and pretreated flowable feed.
Selection recommendationStart with a material trial and select model from target capacity and fineness together; include gas and collection scope.

SYSTEM SCOPE

System Scope And Acceptance

What must be included to make the CLJM-L result repeatable and quote-ready?

Gas routeCompressed-air or nitrogen treatment with filtration, drying and cooling.
Collection and controlDynamic classifier, cyclone or bag filter, closed discharge, controls and safety.
TradeoffMill-only scope can understate utility and collection cost; high-purity, combustible or hygienic duties add lining, inerting, containment or dust-control scope.
Acceptance recommendationWrite material, gas, collection, safety and acceptance metrics into the equipment package before release.

APPLICATIONS & EQUIPMENT

Where CLJM-L Fits Dry Powder Duties

Use the fluidized-bed route when the feed, particle-size target, gas and collection boundary fit the process.

01

Hard And Abrasive Minerals

Dry, brittle mineral feeds such as quartz, alumina or silicon carbide can use a fluidized-bed route when particle size, wear protection and collection conditions are selected together.

02

Heat-Sensitive Powders

Particle-to-particle impact and classifier control suit dry powders whose temperature limit is part of the material-trial brief and operating window.

03

High-Purity Powder Duties

The system uses no mechanical grinding media; contact materials, gas treatment and collection design are selected around the required contamination limit.

MATERIALS & MANUFACTURING

Select Contact Surfaces Around The Duty

Material-contact and lining choices affect wear, contamination control and cleaning scope.

Material / grade

Ceramic or wear-resistant lining can be selected for abrasive duties; final contact material is matched to the feed.

Manufacturing process

System configuration covers jet nozzles, fluidized-bed grinding, dynamic classification, collection and controls.

Surface / finishing

Surface and lining options are selected for contamination, wear and cleaning requirements.

PERFORMANCE & WORKING CONDITIONS

Define The Operating Window

Ranges below are model-selection inputs; material trials set the practical particle-size and temperature window.

0.5–600 kg/hCapacity by model
0.5–75 μmOutput fineness
3–40 m³/minAir consumption by model
5 mm maxFeed particle size
Working mediumFiltered, cooled and dried compressed air; nitrogen or closed-loop gas for applicable duties
Working temperatureGas and product-temperature limits are set in the material trial for heat-sensitive powder
Working pressure / load0.75–0.85 MPa; model capacity and feed load are selected together
Installation limitationsDry feed, gas treatment, collection, controls and dust-safety provisions; difficult-to-fluidize feed needs a trial route

CUSTOMIZATION

Configure The System Around The Material

Four configuration areas connect the requested result to a quote-ready equipment scope.

  • Material-contact lining
Ceramic or wear-resistant options are selected for hardness, abrasion and contamination limits.
  • Gas and collection package
Filtered air, nitrogen or closed-loop gas; cyclone, bag filter and discharge scope follow the duty.
  • Fineness and capacity configuration
Model, classifier setting and feed preparation are matched to target particle size and throughput.
  • Control and safety scope
Instrumentation, dust control, isolation and project safety requirements are included in the engineering package.

USE & SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Use The System In A Controlled Sequence

Startup, monitoring and maintenance keep gas, feed, classification and collection within the selected operating window.

01

Prepare The Feed

Keep feed dry and free-flowing, remove foreign matter and prepare it for the listed feed window. Review material hardness, abrasiveness, heat sensitivity and dust behavior before startup.

  • Feed window: 50–325 mesh listed; 5 mm maximum particle size
  • Review moisture, flowability, wear and dust behavior
  • Keep feed preparation consistent for the trial target
02

Condition Gas And Start Up

Use filtered, cooled and dried process gas. Inspect nozzles, classifier, feeder, collection equipment and isolation points; start gas treatment and collection before feeding material.

  • Set gas pressure and collection path before feed
  • Inspect nozzles, seals and filter condition
  • Use the selected gas route for the material duty
03

Operate And Monitor

Run gas, feeder, classifier and collection in the approved sequence. Track pressure, feed rate, product temperature, collection condition and particle-size result; stop for abnormal pressure, temperature or dust behavior.

  • Monitor 0.75–0.85 MPa working pressure
  • Record feed rate, temperature and particle-size result
  • Stop for abnormal pressure, temperature or dust behavior
04

Shut Down And Maintain

Stop feed before the mill sequence is stopped. Isolate and depressurize before opening; inspect nozzles, lining, classifier, seals and filters, and record wear and cleaning work.

  • Stop feed before the gas and mill sequence
  • Isolate, vent and depressurize before access
  • Record wear, cleaning and replacement work
Important safety notice Compressed gas and fine powder create pressure, dust and ignition hazards. Use guarding and task-appropriate PPE; isolate, vent and depressurize before access. Combustible, toxic, pharmaceutical or food powders need a duty-specific safety and hygiene review. Do not run wet or difficult-to-fluidize feed without a qualified trial.
