CLIRIK offers a comprehensive range of carbonized coconut shell crushing and grinding systems. Our technology is designed to optimize your production efficiency, significantly reduce specific energy consumption, and meet the most stringent manufacturing requirements for various carbonized coconut shell-based products.

Material Introduction
Carbonized coconut shell, often referred to as Coconut Shell Charcoal, is the product of carbonizing raw coconut shells in a limited-oxygen environment at temperatures between 300°C and 500°C. It is characterized by its exceptionally high fixed carbon content (typically >75%) and remarkably low ash and sulfur levels compared to wood or coal-based carbons.
Physically, it is much harder and denser than other biomass charcoals, with a Mohs hardness of 2–3. Its most defining industrial trait is its undeveloped but highly potential micro-pore structure, which serves as the perfect “skeleton” for steam activation. Chemically, it is very stable and non-toxic. When processed into fine powder, it maintains a high degree of structural integrity and provides a clean, reactive carbon surface. These qualities make it indispensable for demanding applications where purity and mechanical strength are critical, such as in precious metal recovery and high-precision liquid phase adsorption.

Industrial Applications
1
4 – 30 Mesh (Granular): Activated Carbon Precursor & Fuel
Applications :
Primarily used as the raw material for Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) and as a high-grade smokeless fuel for specialized industrial heating.
Advantages :
The granular form allows for efficient steam activation to create high-iodine value carbon. As a fuel, it provides high heat output with minimal smoke and ash residue.
2
200 – 400 Mesh (D97: 75-38μm): Soil Amendment & Foundry Additives
Applications :
Used in Biochar Soil Conditioners and as a carbonaceous additive in specialized foundry sand.
Advantages :
It improves soil moisture retention and nutrient exchange. In foundries, it provides a protective carbon layer that improves the surface finish of metal castings and prevents sand burn-on.
3
800 – 1250 Mesh (D97: 18-10μm): Metallurgical Reducing Agents & Fillers
Applications :
Essential as a high-purity Reducing Agent in specialized smelting and as a functional filler in rubber and plastic products.
Advantages :
At this fineness, it ensures rapid and uniform reaction in metallurgical processes. In polymers, it provides effective black coloration and enhances the UV resistance of the material.
4
2000 Mesh + (D97: ≤10μm): Conductive Coatings & Advanced Carbons
Applications :
Specialized functional material for Conductive Paints, anti-static coatings, and high-purity carbon precursors for battery-grade carbon materials.
Advantages :
The ultra-fine particle size ensures perfect dispersion and consistent conductivity. It is an eco-friendly alternative to coal-based carbon black in high-end coatings and serves as a sustainable precursor for advanced energy storage materials.
