Calcium carbonate superfine grinding powder production line with an annual output of 300,000 tons

The installation process of Guangxi customer's calcium carbonate project with an annual output of 300,000 tons was smooth. This project used 4 sets of HGMmicro powder grinding mills and 3 sets of CLUM ultrafine vertical mills.


On May 9, the HGM micro powder grinding mill and CLUM ultrafine vertical mill raw material barrels and finished barrels projects added later by Guangxi calcium carbonate customers successfully completed the hoisting work, marking that the vertical grinding raw material barrels and finished barrels have fully entered the installation stage, laying the foundation for the subsequent hoisting work.

In this project, 4 sets of HGM micro powder grinding mills and 3 sets of CLUM ultrafine vertical mill raw material warehouses were hoisted, which greatly improved the grinding capacity efficiency.

The on-site silo is in sharp contrast with the on-site staff. Such huge metal equipment is like a steel beast, exuding its unique momentum. In the face of such a giant, we were careful with every step of the lifting and transfer work, but our fears proved to be unnecessary.


Before hoisting, the relevant personnel of the business department carefully sort out each process according to the hoisting plan and analyze the possible problems. 


Considering the dimensions, weight, and construction site of the steel silo, the transportation of the steel silo becomes the key link for smooth hoisting. 


And under the premise of construction safety, the project department carefully organizes and strives to maximize the efficiency of machinery and equipment, personnel, and economic benefits. 


Regarding transportation, the engineering department reasonably arranges the division of labor, actively communicates with the project department in advance, clears road obstacles well in advance, and actively maintains communication and coordination with relevant units to ensure that the transportation road is unobstructed during the entire hoisting period, and the hoisting work is carried out smoothly.


With the successful hoisting of the raw material barrels and finished barrels of the vertical mill, the production of the raw material barrels and the finished barrels has turned into a comprehensive installation stage, which has laid the foundation for the subsequent steel structure hoisting tasks.

1. HGM micro powder grinding mill

HGM micro powder grinding mill also named three-ring/four-ring ultra-fine grinding mill. It grinds the material repeatedly through multiple loops to obtain ultra-fine powder efficiently.


The main part of the ultrafine grinding mill is composed of the main engine, the reducer, the analyzer, the fan, the bypass powder collector, the maintenance platform and the electric control cabinet. The auxiliary machine part consists of jaw crusher, bucket elevator, electromagnetic vibrating feeder, storage bin and so on.


The material enters the equipment, is thrown to the edge of the turntable, falls into the grinding chamber, and undergoes multiple grinding to become powder. The fan pulls the ground powder away, which is controlled by the powder concentrator. The powder that does not meet the requirements is returned to the machine cavity and ground again to become finer. The powder that can pass through the powder separator is the finished product, and the pulse dust collector separates the powder from the air to achieve the purpose of collection. The production process operates under negative pressure, and there is no dust spillage.


The fineness of the finished product of the ultrafine pulverizer is between 150-3000 mesh, and the output can reach up to 50 tons/hour.

2. CLUM Ultrafine Vertical Mill

CLUM ultrafine vertical mill also named Vertical roller mill. It is grinding equipment that integrates crushing, drying, grinding, grading, and conveying. The grinding principle is similar to that of the Raymond mill. The difference is that it can blow hot air into the grinding chamber, saving a The cost of the dryer.

The fineness of the finished product of the vertical roller mill is between 0.17-0.033mm, the model is from small to large, and the processing capacity can be from 10-40 tons per hour to 90-320 tons per hour.
