Particle size reduction machines in mining industry


Particle size reduction machines are divided into primary crushing machine, secondary crushing machine, tertiary crushing, coarse powder grinding mill, fine and ultrafine powder grinding mill.
Primary Crushing---Box-type crusher is also called box-type hammer crusher. It increases the feeding space on the basis of the original hammer crusher. The new type hammer crusher can crush edge length 450-1400mm material into a 120mm size ore powder, but doesn’t plugging. The box-type breaker can be used as a secondary crushing, is mainly used in mining, cement, building materials, chemicals and other industries. Box-type breaker uses to crush the materials such as limestone, rock, gypsum, coal and gangue that the compressive strength not up to 200MPA. Besides the box-type breaker is necessary equipment for crushing stones. Box-type breaker is an improved product to hammer crusher, when the raw material revolves, the material is counterattacked or hammer blow in the crushing cavity, and against each other, increasing the staying time of raw material, making more raw powders. The box-type breaker is especially suitable for broking the powder materials, such as coal shale, limestone, gypsum etc.

Secondary Crushing--- Jaw crusher is mainly used in the industries of metallurgy, mining, chemical, cement, construction, refractory materials and ceramics, suitable to crush hard and soft ores with compressive strength less than 320Mpa. This machine can break materials to medium size and fine size.

Tertiary crushing---Hammer crusher is mainly applied to low abrasion materials with medium hardness and compression strength not exceeds 100Mpa. Such as coal, salt, chalk, gypsum, bricks, tiles, limestone, etc. It is also used to crush wood chips with strong fiber structure and tenacity, and the waste from asbestos cement to recycle asbestos fiber, etc. In addition, hammer crusher can be not only applied in crushing line and sand production line, but also applied instead of cone crusher.  

Coarse powder grinding mill--- European version hammer mill, engaging in crushing various rocks and stones with comprehensive strength not higher than 320 MPa into fine and micro fine powders, is widely used in metallurgy, mining, chemical, cement, coal, sand-making, coal gangue, construction, refractory materials and ceramic industries.

Fine powder grinding mill---YGM high pressure suspension grinding mill is suitable for processing various non-flammable and non-explosive mineral materials with Moh’s hardness less than 9.3 and humidity less than 6%, it is widely used in the fields of metallurgy, construction, chemical industry, mining, highway construction etc,. The granularity of the finished powder size can be adjusted between 50 and 325 mesh (315-45 micron). Examples of processing materials include quartz, feldspar, barite, calcite carbonate, limestone, talc, ceramic, iron ore, carborundum, bauxite, rock phosphate, coal and other materials, total about 400 kinds of materials.

Ultrafine powder grinding mill---HGM three-ring and four-ring medium speed ultrafine grinding mill is the new type grinding equipment specializing in producing fine and superfine powder of non-inflammable, non-explosive and brittle materials with Mohs’ hardness under 7, such as calcite, chalk, limestone, dolomite, kaolin, bentonite, talc, mica, magnesite, illite, pyrophyllite and vermiculite, sepiolite, attapulgite, rectorite, diatomite, barite, gypsum, alunite, graphite, fluorite, rock phosphate, kalium ore, pumice, etc., totally more than 100 kinds of materials. The product fineness can reach D97≤5μm.
